Parties are a great way for friends, family, and coworkers to enjoy time together, learning and making something in a creative space. We welcome everyone, of all skill levels, ages 10+ to the party, and we encourage you to host your next event with us, either here at the Artist Shop or at your place!

Book Your Party
To secure your party plans, there is a $150 reservation fee due upon booking. We give priority in booking to those who have already paid their reservation fee.
- If you have some flexibility in planning the date and time of your event, you can go ahead and pay your reservation fee now and let us know what dates and times work best for you.
- If you're set on a particular date and time, it's best to email us first at hello@kaartist.com to check our availability.
Choose Your Activity
Popular party activities include painting with watercolor and acrylic, calligraphy with dip pens and brush markers, collage, and printmaking tote bags. We're always open to new ideas and tailoring your event to your group's interests, so reach out if you want to discuss further!
Materials Fee
On the day of your event there will be a per-participant materials fee to cover the cost of supplies. This materials fee varies based on what activity you choose and whether or not you'd like to offer some supplies as a take-home gift.
Party Details
- We can host a maximum of 12 participants in our classrooms.
- Guests should be 10 years or older.
- For participants under 18 years old, an adult chaperone must be present for the duration of the party.
- Parties at the Artist Shop last for two hours, with a 1.5 hour art lesson/activity.
- We welcome the host to come 15-30 minutes early for set-up.
- We don’t allow messy food/cake in our classrooms, but water bottles, personal canteens, small snacks, treats, and goodie bags are fine!

- We can lead workshops for any number of participants, as long as you have the space!
- Guests should be 10 years or older, though we can be more flexible with ages when the party is held at your place.
- For participants under 18 years old, an adult chaperone must be present for the duration of the party.
- For parties at your place, we come prepared with a 1.5 hour art lesson/activity. We'll arrive a bit early to set up and stay shortly after to clean up our portion of the party.
- We don't provide decorations, food, or drinks... that's up to you! But if you have an ideas that could require our help, don't hesitate to ask!
Travel Fee
We've hosted many parties at local businesses, UGA, and other schools. And there is no additional fee for parties hosted within a 5-mile radius of the shop!
We're happy to travel outside of this range for your party, however. Due upon booking, there's an additional fee of $3 per mile for parties outside of this 5-mile radius.
