The Artist Shop is excited to offer Summer Camps for young creatives of all skill levels!
“Fiber Week” with Courtney McCracken
July 23rd - 27th // 8:30am - 12:30pm
This week is for creating rope, creating with rope, weaving, tying, and looping threads. We will make net bags, learn both useful and decorative knots, and build our own looms to weave with. Our materials will tell a story of our community, the trash we live with, the life that surrounds us, and the memories we keep.

With a fine group of local artists as instructors (and some seriously fun activities planned), we hope to keep kids creatively engaged and parents stress-free throughout the Summer.
Camps run Monday through Friday, and there are two camps per day: one from 8:30am-12:30pm, and another from 1:30pm-5:30pm. Students who enroll in both morning and afternoon sessions will have the option of staying at the shop and having free-draw/movie time while they wait for the afternoon session to begin (a great option for working parents).
Important: We ask that students bring a water bottle and sack lunch for morning camps, and a water bottle and snack for afternoon camps. All art supplies will be provided, though students are asked to bring a sketchbook and a pen or pencil for sketching and note-taking.
Sign up for 4 or more camps and save $25 per camp! 👉To get your discount, use coupon code “CAMPOUT” at checkout.
These camps will likely fill-up, so sign-up and reserve your spot. We look forward to sharing the Summer with you!
