In this course, students will learn the basics of naturalist still-life oil painting by using techniques based on the methods of the Old Masters. Over four sessions, students will not only learn basic materials and best practices of oil painting, but also develop one finished still-life painting utilizing methods such as imprimatura, grisaille, and glazing.
All materials needed will be provided. You won't need to bring anything but yourself, and beginners are always welcome.
