In this series of classes, participants will create a new book from an existing book. Following prompts and guided lessons, students will explore a variety of themes, topics, and art techniques. Personal interest and expression will manifest into a treasured work of art.
Many different mediums will be explored to create different pages. Topics covered include page preparation, decoration, blackout poetry, pockets, and more. Students will gain an understanding of the processes and materials so that they can explore their own book pages and continue working on their books independently.
You are welcome to attend any one or all four workshops we have scheduled. Each student will be given a book to alter, and you'll also have access to an array of materials to enhance your creation throughout the class.
