The Doors of Athens

Archival Prints of Original Silk Paintings
by René Shoemaker

Original paintings on silk by René Shoemaker depicting sixteen approachable entrances in Athens, GA are reimagined for your space as archival prints.

The Doors of Athens exhibit stems from my love for Athens and my deep appreciation of the diversity, community, and intellectual curiosity embedded in the city’s culture. Highlighting small businesses, the colorful paintings on silk explore the beauty and architectural richness of our hometown. My goal is to promote continued support for our local small businesses. -René Shoemaker

Each original silk painting has been thoughtfully digitized and prepared for printing by K. A. Artist Shop.

You can take home a slice of Athens, replicated with archival inks on cotton rag paper. Available as 6x6 inch, 12x12 inch, or 16x16 inch prints with white border, packaged with a mat board backing in an archival sleeve.
