Classes can take place in person at the Artist Shop, or we can set up a virtual lesson online. We are happy to accommodate to your preference.
All levels are welcome--from absolute beginners to seasoned artists. For beginners, we’ll start off with a general overview, and we’ll make sure that you leave with gratifying understanding of how to use your tools and ways to enjoy your practice. For those with more experience, we will experiment with unexpected materials, offer critique, or dive into those more challenging topics. Just let us know what you'd like to learn.
Our private classes last 1 to 4 hours and will be scheduled according to yours and our teacher's schedules. After you purchase your private session, we'll be in touch via hello@kaartist.com for scheduling.
We'll provide basic, shareable materials like pencils, scissors, palettes, and bone folders. Consumable materials like paints and surfaces are not included, so BYO if you have them! Alternatively, we can help you shop for supplies before your class.
