Harper Barrow is a portrait artist from a multi-generational family of portrait artists who is revered for her meticulous attention to detail. She works exclusively with charcoal. She is gifted in her ability to capture the intense, raw emotion of her subjects, leaving the viewer with an understanding of the subject’s character.

Harper graduated from The University of Georgia with a BFA degree in drawing, and studied abroad in Cortona, Italy during her time at UGA.

Harper considers herself very fortunate to have a steady list of clients who keep her busy with commission work. These commissions are typically portraits of children, adults, and pets.

Harper also spends her time traveling, nannying for a family in Athens, and care-giving for her brother with special needs. Harper has dreamed of being an art teacher and is excited to start teaching at the Artist Shop!
