Made from a blend of natural pigments, kaolin clay, and graphite, these pastel sticks provide particularly soft and smooth drawing. These crayons are very soft to apply and manufactured using natural pigments (iron oxides, carbon black, titanium dioxide), clay (kaolin) and a binder (cellulose ether).
The rich tones mix together nicely, and are well suited for use on textured paper or heavily grained surfaces. Sharpen them to a chisel tip, or drag them flat on their sides for various shading techniques.
