"Ode to Georgia" is not just about a location, but a love story filled with multi-generational memories. It's a recollection, better yet a celebration, of what was, what is, and what will continue to be home. Cotton and canola fields, alligators in the Okefenokee Swamp, honeybees and peaches, Bobwhite Quails, and White-Tailed Deer avoiding the hunt are just a few images that hop across the page in hopes to evoke new memories within the viewer.
Each print is 20 inches high by 16 inches wide. Printed on demand upon ordering - please allow a 3 business day turnaround time. This archival reproduction print comes unframed but will be hand-signed by Kate and packaged with mat board backing within a protective sleeve.

About the Artist

Kate Couch received her BFA from The University of Georgia and has been making art longer than she can remember. Drawing inspiration from her two homes, California and Georgia, Kate's steady hand and attention to detail is recognizably her comfort zone. The joy of animals, the energy of water, and the beauty of the sky move and intermingle throughout Kate's work. The push-pull of positive and negative space encourages her viewers to look longer, look closer, and ultimately, be surprised.
